This British Army 24 Hour Ration Pack (4000 Kcal) is a complete 'one stop' MRE to fully sustain one active person for 24 hours. It contains high energy snacks, electrolyte drinks and 3 main meals. Available as wet meals or freeze dried meals (MRE), both a great alternative if light-weight transportability and long shelf-life are priorities. Wet meals (or also called ambient meals) have been cooked and packed in vacuum and are ready to be eaten directly out of the bag or tin - even without heating - if needed. Freeze dried meals require the addition of hot water to prepare but are lighter to carry and therefore ideal for expedition use and food storage.
